RCDM Birmingham
Royal Centre for Defence Medicine (RCDM) and Defence School of Health Care Studies are located in Birmingham.
Defence Medical Staff are grouped into five MOD Hospital Units across the UK and the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine, located just outside the centre of Birmingham. University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) runs the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, which will replace the existing Queen Elizabeth and Selly Oak hospitals
Birmingham City offers a blend of arcades, stylish malls, markets and of course the famous Jewellery Quarter. The city is full of latest designer boutiques and general high street stores together with specialist shops. The Bull Ring also hosts a variety of high street stores together with larger department stores such as Selfridges.
The HIVE is able to provide information and details of Unit Facilities to permanent staff and trainees from all three services living and working in the Birmingham area.
